Default Cudicini crash shocks Harry

Harry Redknapp has wished Carlo Cudicini a speedy recovery after the Tottenham goalkeeper was injured in a motorbike crash.

Cudicini was rushed to hospital on Thursday after suffering injuries in a road accident that were initially described by police as 'possibly life-changing'.

Tottenham quickly released a statement to say he had fractured his wrists and injured his pelvis in the accident, while more details are expected to be announced after the results of scans have been assessed.

There remain concerns over Cudicini's career as reports suggest he may have breached his contract with the club by riding a high-powered motorbike.

Manager Redknapp has now spoken of his shock at the incident but he is just thankful that it was not any worse.

"We are all sorry to hear about what happened with Carlo," he stated.

"We are just relieved that the injuries he suffered in the accident were not more serious.

"Everyone at the club sends their best wishes to him and we hope he recovers soon."

All the best to Cudicini although these highly payed players usually have a clause in their contracts not allowing any high risk activities which would include riding around London on a motorbike. I read he broke both wrists which sounds serious for a goalie.

I think he is a decent goalie and hope he recovers well. He sat long enough on the chelsea bench and this was his season to cement a first team place with a club and show he talent. hope he recovers and gets inbetween the sticks again for spurs.

Hard lines .....and a speedy recovery to the guy .
We had a bad smasch outside our house tonight between two cars .... one fella was able to stagger from the smashed up car but the woman who cut out in front of him at a junction had to be cut free ....jaysus ...i could her screaming and there was nothing we could do ... we hera that both her arms are broke and her pelvis and leg ...she has also incured neck injuries ....please say a prayer(or if you don;t pray then please wish her a recovery from her injuries) for her if you do not mind as she is in a pretty bad way .
We never know the moment and i can see the mugs and idiots that drive around these days ...i think there should be a tightening up on driving past a certain age (i know one guy that drives and he is well into his eighties ......there was one old fella along the road aged 90 that used to bring his old ford consul car out one a week for a run around the block...he spent the rest of the week polishing it inside and out .......he is dead now god rest him .....but he drove at three miles per hour and had poeple queuing up behind him on his short drive around the block ....this beautiful original ford consul was his from brand new and his son got it to take to car shows ....his son got it stollen i,m afraid ...and the old fella has died since . god help him .he was a danger on the road ,i sometimes think that i might well be a danger and thats why i never drive with medication on me ...so i drive very little in a week just about three years and i have not done 20,000 miles yet ...it goes back in march to the seller , then i will see how i get on without a car ...the public transport takes forever up in these hills but we are struggling a wee bit paying out for a car we hardly use .
